Ms Josefine from France had an opportunity to live with local family in Narwana (a small town in North India)- an experience that changed her opinions about India and Indian culture. Before joing ORCBT, she had read a lot about India before making a final visit to the country. She confessed that she had some negative opinions which changes drastically upon experiencing the ‘real culture’. The experiences she had before at different tourist places were more of commercial nature without any opportunity to interact with locals in more natural situations. While on a holiday and volunteer work with ORCBT her experiences helped her learn a lot more new things. Her story was covered in local media.
