Apply Now for Cultural Exchange Program

Applications for long-term programs (6-12 months) should be made at least 2 months in advance of planned start date. However, Applications for short-term program can be processed within 3-6 weeks.

Application Process:

Step 1 – Application:

After receiving your interest via email or online contact us form, we will send you application form, instructions and other relevant details. ORCBT will review all applications and match these with available cultural exchange opportunities available (e.g. with participating educational institutes).

Step 2 – Placement

ORCBT will place you at a potential host institution normally within six to eight weeks or inform you if there are issues that might delay or prevent placement in your chosen country. ORCBT cannot guarantee an offer of placement, and in case academic preparation or language proficiency is not enough we may need to ask you to defer to a later date to give you a chance to improve your skills. More than 80 percent of applications are currently processed within above mentioned time-frame.

Step 3 – Confirmation

After reviewing your application, the host institute confirms to ORCT their willingness to accept you for the program. Since ORCBT works directly with host educational institutions and local organisations, it normally takes less than 2 weeks in most cases.

Step 4 – Offer and Acceptance

After receiving confirmation from educational institute, we send you detailed information and an offer of placement. The process is complete when you make a commitment to the program by returning the participant placement acceptance form.

After your Confirmation and Acceptance, institute will send you a letter of acceptance. You will need letter from your institute and other documents for visa depending on your home country and country you are traveling to.
